## Outcomes

- verified: at least one plumber at the business held an active PIRB registration when checked
- lapsed: registration held previously, none active when checked
- ambiguous: PIRB records exist but could not be matched with confidence (typically franchises)
- not_found: no registration under the business name

## Notes

- Source: Plumbing Industry Registration Board public register (pirbonline.co.za). Attest does not republish the register; unclaimed listings show only the outcome of Attest's check.
- coc_eligible is true when a verified business has a plumber at Licensed or Master Plumber designation, which PIRB requires for issuing a plumbing Certificate of Compliance.
