Beetle inspectors checked against SAPCA's wood borer inspector list

Every business here was checked against the SAPCA list of wood borer (WDO) inspectors: a business is matched to the list only when the telephone number on its Google listing, or its website's domain, is that of a listed wood borer inspector. A verified badge means the business's own telephone number or email domain was that of an inspector on SAPCA's list of wood borer (WDO) inspectors when we checked. No statute requires a beetle certificate: the sale agreement asks for one and decides who may sign it, usually by reference to SAPCA. The listing belongs to the inspector, so a firm whose inspector uses a personal number will not appear here. An owner can supply their inspector's WDO number by claiming the listing. Nothing is self-reported.
