Insurance brokers checked against the FSCA register
Every business here was checked against the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) register of authorised financial services providers: a business is matched to a register entry only when the telephone number on its Google listing is the one the FSCA holds for an authorised financial services provider. A verified badge means the business's own telephone number is on the FSCA register entry of an authorised financial services provider licensed to advise on short-term personal insurance. Authorisation is compulsory, but many brokers work lawfully as representatives under a larger firm's licence, and the FSCA lists representatives by ID number only, so they will not appear here under their own name. An owner can supply their FSP number by claiming the listing. Nothing is self-reported.

The same results as structured attestation objects: GET https://attest.africa/api/search?trade=insurance_broker&area=<area>&limit=10. Filter by region, area, town or status. Anonymous callers get 10 results and 60 requests an hour; a key raises that — hello@attest.africa. One JSON attestation per listing beside each page, and llms.txt describes the whole surface.
