Security companies, alarm installers, armed response and locksmiths checked against the PSIRA register
Every business here was checked against the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) register of security service providers: a business is matched to the register only by the PSIRA registration number it publishes on its own website, found registered under a name that shares a distinctive word with the business's. A verified badge means the business publishes its PSIRA registration number on its own website and PSIRA's register shows that number as registered, under a name that matches the business. PSIRA's register shows no telephone, address or services, so the number a business publishes is the only way we can tie it to the register. A business we could not check this way is shown as not established, which says nothing either way. Ask any security provider or locksmith for its PSIRA number before you sign, and check it on PSIRA's own site. Nothing is self-reported.
