Solar installers checked against the PV GreenCard and ECB directories
Every business here was checked against the PV GreenCard and ECB directories: the PV GreenCard directory by the business's name and street address, because it publishes no telephone numbers, and the ECB directory by the telephone number on the business's Google listing (an electrician Attest already held keeps the ECB check recorded for it). Solar installation is not itself a registered occupation. A solar PV system is connected to the property's electrical installation, so what the law asks is electrical: a contractor registered with the Department of Employment and Labour, and a registered person to sign the Certificate of Compliance. PV GreenCard is a voluntary industry scheme whose certified installation companies must hold that contractor registration and have a registered installation electrician; the ECB directory records Department of Labour registration numbers. Both are voluntary, so many qualified installers will not appear here. An owner can supply their registration numbers by claiming the listing. Nothing is self-reported.

The same results as structured attestation objects: GET https://attest.africa/api/search?trade=solar_installer&area=<area>&limit=10. Filter by region, area, town or status. Anonymous callers get 10 results and 60 requests an hour; a key raises that — hello@attest.africa. One JSON attestation per listing beside each page, and llms.txt describes the whole surface.
